MEDIUM-VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR AND CONTROLGEAR
RETROFIT SOLUTIONS

Rallcon has the capabilities and infrastructure to design retrofit solutions for most medium-voltage switchgear and control gear solutions that are currently installed and no longer supported by their OEMs. We are the preferred strategic partner for all Schneider-electric medium-voltage switchgear and controlgear retrofits.

STANDARD AND VANDAL PROOF RIG MAIN UNITS, KIOSKS AND BULK METERING UNIT KIOSKS

We have the capability and infrastructure to design both standard and vandal-proof kiosks for ring main units and bulk metering units. Rallcon is currently a preferred Schneider-electric strategic partner for their ring main units (indoor and outdoor) kiosks. Several locally based distributor agencies have also approached Rallcon to provide turnkey solutions (design kiosks, installation, factory testing distributor’s agency’s RMU and provide “as built” documentation and package for export purposes) for their ring main units. Several of these units have been exported to our neighbouring countries.

PROTECTION & CONTROL AND METERING PANELS

Rallcon designs and manufactures both fully functional protection and control panels, and metering panels predominately used in substation applications. In January 2018, we joined forces with two of our strategic technology partners, to penetrate and command a sizeable market share in the next two years.

SUBSTATION AUTOMATION PANELS

We have the capabilities and infrastructure to design and manufacture substation automation panels predominately used in substations applications. In January 2018, we joined forces with two of our strategic and technology partners, to penetrate and command a sizeable market share in the next two years.

CONTAINERISED SWITCHING, DISTRIBUTION AND TRACTION SUBSTATIONS

We provide fully functional containerized or prefabricated switching, distribution and traction substations. These turnkey solutions can be offered with Rallcon electrical packages (solutions) or a mixture of the Client’s preferred solutions with Rallcon electrical packages. Rallcon Intends to aggressively market this solution in Nigeria, Kenya, Namibia and Botswana in the next two years.
